The garden party in the rain!

Special time is all about being together even on such a day as this when the rain came down more than the sun came out!
However, it made no difference as it was enjoyed by all.

Traits of the solitary song bird

It seeks the highest place;
It withstands less company;
It holds its beak to the air;
It has no definate color;
It sings sweetly!
To rise above passing things, paying no more heed to them than if they should not exist.
To be found in silence and solitude that it could less tolerate the company of another creature.
To hold ones beak to the air of the Holy Spirit, responding to His inspiration, that by so doing it may become worthy of His company. To have no definate color, desiring to do nothing definate other than the will of God; Singing sweetly in contemplation and love of its Spouse...This is this little song birds total desire!

The songs of angels!

I have a habit, that if I am inspired I feel compelled to capture it on my little camera, lest I should forget. Well for once I decided not to!
My time spent at the Poor Clare Colettine monastery was so private and special, I decided this picture was to remain at the gate and the rest in my heart.
Thank you mother and all you dear sisters' for allowing our dear Lord the time & space to whisper to my heart.

Our degree of Faith! 13/7/09 2.30p.m

This degree is one of pure FAITH!
I have no natural ability, in fact it has been said, that I make other peoples heads' hurt because I am soooooooooooo simple.
That, I regard a compliment to the Lords hard work within me!
This degree was the most challenging of things but one that was undertaken because after much prayer & listening to the whispers of our Lord: He inspired in my heart a journey that would be one made in love and courage to follow Him even when I had no strength of self to do so.
Our journey to the Lord is seldom one taken alone, and I was given the loving support of our little team in Heaven and on earth.
Thank you for being there through all the tears & messages of, 'I cannot do this anymore' & the replies of, 'O yes you can!'.
Today is all about praising Jesus for His endless gifts of love and enjoying the fruits of our labours' as a heavenly team! Love you all from the bottom of this very simple little heart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A lifetime of being held in the palm of His hand

It has never failed to amaze me how there can be so many divisions in following the Lord, and everyone claiming to be on the right road.
I read recently, a paper from Pope Benedict XVl that our Lord would have not divided the truth as man continues to do. He embraced all people, religions and found a way, the way of love not theory to our Heavenly Father.
There is only one Father, Son, Holy Spirit, they are ONE the Holy Trinity, no division. This we can be sure of because Jesus has told us so. He is the voice of God made flesh.
It is a disgrace to call ourselves Christians if we cannot tolerate and love our neighbours efforts to draw closer to the truth. We are only true disciples when our hearts are made new. Understanding the heart of Jesus comes from being transformed by love of Jesus; Faith is not a theory an opinion about God and the world. It is the result of the love of God on each individual heart.
'In my Fathers house are many mansions: If it were not so I would have told you...'( John 14. v.2). I understand this to mean the heart of our Lord is all embracing and tolerant of individuals efforts. If it were not so He would have told us.
Therefore, in my simple mind & heart, I believe we should let go of prejudice to our neighbour and Love for loves sake alone launching into the unknown. Don't rely on seeing two sure steps ahead because the Lord provides only one and sometimes none, in order that we shall rest on His abilities alone. Be at peace with only the one step!
Less time should be spent dividing the truth into personal interpretation because this is the work of the devil who causes division, therefore confusion and from there little respect and love.

The picture of the Blessed Virgin Mary has taken centre place in my home for as long as I can remember.

She has never failed to hear my petitions and take them straight to heaven as soon as they were uttered.

Our Lady has never put herself before our Lord, but as the gentle vessel that carried the saviour of our world, the new Eve!

Mother you said yes to God and your yes remained, no matter what suffering was involved.

Please help us always to say yes with the same quiet, sure confidence.

A carrier of God's love, the love of an infinite thirsty God.
