It is very easy to look with the eye of the flesh on those who stand by the sinner...
However, look deeper into the heart and try hard not to judge...
It takes a brave man to move the sinner away from the sin...
In this time of Holy week, we have to reflect on why our Jesus gave Himself totally to mount the cross... The cross is not a shameful testimony of a failed mission of love...
It is the beautiful alter of love...It is the tree of life that always stood in the midst of man since the foundation of the world... It is our very salvation, from all that enslaves us. It protects our little hearts, whilst testing our little hearts, hearts that have been fashioned in the warmth of our Good Gods love.
The cross is a pure act of giving! Where one goes, embraces it in all that goes above human understanding or acceptance and offers oneself in love for others...
I will not get caught up in all that happens in the world, beliving what the world believes as important. People are led by many new theories and the media itself can be a very powerful tool, working for good but sometimes not so good... It can influence the minds of the many...
I am totally led by the WORD of our Good God... much of the time, following the word of God can be contrary to how others believe we should act...But we know Gods ways are not mans ways... They do not require one to walk the wide road but the narrow path.
I have read much of Pope Benedict XVI writing, and he is a very Holy man... at this time he is standing at the foot of the cross being accused of protecting the sinner....
If you feel led to judge... stop for a second and look deeply into your own hearts... will you be the first to cast that stone... Because our Lord never... He turned to the sinner and in love said, "Go sin no more".... If one sinner will turn from his sin, because one heart has been brave enough to love him when all others will turn away... Then we should pray for that brave soul not persecute them for their act of love................
