A little bit of Heaven.

God saw all He had made and behold, it was very Good

Very, very Good

The office of the Holy Spirit:

"It is expedient for you that I go away...for if I do not go, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart,I will sendHim unto you... He will guide you into all truth" (John.16.v7-13)

To sit in your presence:

It becomes evident to a little soul
the more it is drawn into its Good God
the smaller it will become...
A process at first of much personal effort and pain
casting off ones inclination to lean to self love... desiring only to becoming less, so that He will become more...
However, as time passes, one is inspired to see the inner heart cannot do anything of its own effort alone... but is gently being transformed by the graceful hand of God, simpler still, in ways far beyond ones understanding.
The little heart now is so small, becoming so trusting and desiring ever more to be smaller still, it gives up its right to be independent of its love for love alone...
The little heart has now fused with its creator... In a state of such delight and inner peace it never wishes to be separated for one single second...
It bends gracefully, living only to give to its Good God, through giving totally of oneself
in love to others... Giving all that was first given to it...
Yes, it is enough just to Be... To be in His presence and be still, to be one and become all it was born to be.

So much to learn:

It never fails to puzzle me how others consider I have contributed in any way to all that is done through me. If they truly understood me, I spend a lot of time trying to become less, so the Good God will become more. Therefore, I put nothing to myself but everything is made possible through our Lord!
In truth this heart is timid, nervous, even of her own shadow! So I guess that is a good place to start, because from that point things can only be improved on. The place of preference is to be that little step behind so life can be savoured as apposed to devoured. It is not a bad place to be at the back, because it is always less populated and those there, are generally happy to be so! It gives one chance to take a more leisurely step as apposed to setting the pace! Also taking in the finer detail one can notice all that could have so easily been overlooked, all that enriches a life and wings a heart to Heaven constantly.
So yes, we are happy just to Be, wherever that being maybe. As long as it is where our Lord is and He is happy to be there too!
