..."For the first step towards discipline is a very earnest desire for her...Then comes from discipline, to love her. Love means the keeping of her laws, to observe these laws is the basis for incorruptability and incorruptibility makes one close to God...Thus the desire for wisdom leads up to a kingdom"... The WORD is very near to you
..."For this law I enjoin on you today is not beyond your strength or beyond your reach. It is not in Heaven, so that you need to wonder," who will go up to Heaven for us and bring it down to us, so that we may hear it and keep it?" Nor is it beyond the seas, so that you need to wonder, "who will cross the seas, so that we may hear it and keep it?"
No, the WORD is very near to you, it is in your mouth and in your heart for your observance...
(Deuteronomy 30.v.11-14)

Pure joy
Totally fascinating...We just love them but they are so under rated!
I often remark to people when attending to their feet, what a privilege
it is to undertake such a duty and how much faithful service our feet
give to us over a lifetime.
They can walk in faith, they can walk in despair, they can be messengers of
love or hate but always faithfully they carry us on without little recognition.
Feet featured high in our Lords teaching and the importance of undertaking
the simplest/ humblest of tasks of tending to another feet, no matter one's station in life...
Feet play largely in culture and much respect is attributed to the covering or uncovered foot especially when standing on Holy ground. What a beautiful thing to stand or walk bare footed in the presence of our good God. Feet are placed at mans lowest point but if one were to kiss the feet of another, that simple act would truly penetrate Heaven.
